  • Geographical Range: Endemic to wet tropical forests of western Sabah, Borneo, at 550–1 000 m elevation.
  • Environment: Thrives in disturbed forest gaps and rocky riverbanks under consistently high humidity.

  • Large, sagittate, mid‑green blades with prominent veins

  • Lower spathe green, upper limb white and lanceolate
  • Spadix creamy with a tapering appendix

  • Terrestrial, massive pachycaul geophyte reaching ~2.3 m tall via a stout rhizome
